Location: Pleasant Hill
Materials Coordinator, Central Services Department, John F. Kennedy University, Pleasant Hill campus. This is a 40-hour per week position reporting directly to the Facilities Director. The hours are Monday-Thursday 9:30am-6pm and Friday 8:30am-5pm. This non-exempt position offers a flexible benefit plan that includes vacation and sick leave accruals, medical, dental, 403(b) retirement eligibility, dependent care, long term disability, voluntary life and/or long term care insurance and some tuition waiver benefits.
The requirements for this position include: background with bookstores, publishers, copyright permissions, copiers, direct address printers and other office equipment; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Bulk Mailer Software important. Good reading, writing and math skills essential; excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work as a member of a team and maintain highly effective relationships with departmental and university staff; attention to detail; the ability to manage many tasks in a busy environment. Must be able to lift 55 lbs; stand for long periods, operate loud machinery, work in a noisy environment and tolerate the smell of copies, printer and fax toner. Must possess a California driver’s license. A Bachelor’s degree is helpful but not a requirement.
