Solt-Evans LEAP (Life Enhancement through Athletic Participation) Project Coordinator, College of Graduate and Professional Studies, John F. Kennedy University, Pleasant Hill campus, 10 hours per week, primarily daytime hours, flexible times, must be willing to work evenings as needed. This part-time, non-exempt position does not include benefits.
The LEAP Coordinator is responsible for supporting the University’s Solt-Evans LEAP Project by organizing events, meetings and coordinating LEAP activities in conjunction with the MA Sport Psychology Program. Duties include securing funding for LEAP, establishing outside partnerships and identifying opportunities for community-building. The demonstration of excellent communications and attention to detail is vital.
Requirements include Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field and knowledge of Sport Psychology (preferred); excellent communication skills and openness to different viewpoints; Good organizational, event managing, attention to detail and writing, and networking skills. PC proficiency including Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, Internet Explorer and Google programs. Travel will be required, thus a California driver’s license and auto insurance are necessary. (A California DMV printout may be requested.)
