Core Faculty, The College of Graduate and Professional Studies (CGPS) at John F. Kennedy University (JFKU) is hiring a full time Core Faculty in the MBA Program at the Pleasant Hill campus. This full-time, exempt position comes with benefits that include vacation and sick leave accruals, medical, dental, vision, 403(b) retirement eligibility and some tuition waiver benefits.


The Core Faculty member of the MBA program reports directly to the Program Chair. Responsibilities include teaching 24 units annually, participation in curricula review and program development; serving as faculty advisor and mentor to students; promoting program through community involvement, networking, and informational meetings to increase student enrollment. Involvement in college and university governance is expected, as is maintaining a program of scholarship and community or professional service.

The ideal candidate will possess a Doctoral degree in Business Administration or equivalent from a regionally accredited university. Must have experience teaching at the graduate level, in business curricula review and development, faculty leadership, mentoring adult students with diverse backgrounds, and the ability to develop and lead a wide variety of educational marketing and development strategies to support recruitment efforts for the business programs. Additional qualifications include:

The successful candidate will be committed to working as part of an academic team, and possess a strong background in theory and execution of business administration and marketing.
