The College of Graduate and Professional Studies is currently seeking an experienced academic leader to be a core faculty member in the MBA program. This is an opportunity to work with the CGPS team toward a fresh vision for the College and to chart the long-term direction of these programs. Responsibilities include curricula review and program development, teaching, student advising, hiring and mentoring adjunct faculty, and promoting the program through community involvement, networking, and informational meetings to increase student enrollment. The Core Faculty member participates actively as a team member with other CGPS faculty and the CGPS staff and under the supervision of the CGPS Dean, in facilitating the business program to fulfill the College’s vision.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent (doctoral degree highly preferred). A minimum of five years experience in a faculty position is required with experience in business curricula review and development, faculty leadership, teaching and mentoring adult students with diverse backgrounds, and the ability to develop and lead a wide variety of educational marketing and development strategies to support recruitment efforts for the business programs. Additional qualifications include:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of current trends in management education

  • Strong interpersonal and administrative skills
  • A commitment to diversity in all aspects of the educational process
  • Demonstrated success in marketing and recruitment
  • Strong commitment to collaborative leadership
  • Experience with distance education and online learning

This is a fulltime, exempt, twelve month position with full benefits. Four weeks of academic recess are provided each year. This position is advertised at the rank of Associate Professor. Actual salary is based on personal qualifications. Position begins immediately.
