Clinical Coordinator, College of Graduate and Professional Studies, John F. Kennedy University, Community Counseling Center in Concord, 20 hours per week, primarily daytime hours, must be willing to work evenings as needed. This part-time, exempt position is supervised by the Executive Director of the JFKU Community Counseling Centers.
The position focuses on client-related and student trainee-related functions of the Center and is responsible for providing clinical and administrative consultation to staff, supervisors, and student trainees regarding training, policies/procedures, supervision, client management issues, and assessment of clients. The Clinical Coordinator facilitates the Clinical Orientation Training; manages the client and therapist tracking system and the client intake process for the Center; is responsible for the clinical oversight of the Evaluation Committee, the group therapy program, and the Peer Mentoring Program.
Requirements for this position include a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social welfare, or a related field; Clinical license (psychologist, MFT, LCSW, LPCC) and 3 – 5 years experience in the field; Knowledge of legal and ethical regulations and standards of the profession; Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, track details and develop systems, and make oral and written reports. PC proficiency is required and should include Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, Internet Explorer and Google programs. Capacity to learn and use the online learning platform is mandatory. Bilingual skills and or fluency in Spanish is strongly favored.
