The Admissions and Academic Advisor is a 40 hour per week position, including some evenings. Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience. This non-exempt position comes with benefits that include vacation and sick leave accruals, medical, dental, vision, 403(b) retirement eligibility and some tuition waiver benefits.
The requirements for this position include a BA degree in any discipline, customer service or admissions experience and strong verbal and written communications skills. Spanish language skills are highly desired. The Advisor supports the University in meeting its strategic enrollment and retention objectives by recruiting new students and guiding admitted students in successfully completing their degree or certificate program. The Advisor provides professional and high quality service to students and maintains ongoing relationships with faculty. A comprehensive knowledge of the University’s programs, policies and procedures for admissions and retention will be required.
